The money would be spent on a program called "The Literacy Lab" which is an English language immersion program for ESOL students at PROPEL in Boca Raton.
Over the last five years PROPEL's Literacy Lab has aided students that were reading two and three years below grade level and brought them to achieve standards well above their current grade level.
"The Literacy Lab" is a 40 week immersion program with the intent of teaching English to students in Palm Beach County who are not yet fluent. |
